They Moved The Moon - Bonus Playlist!
Since my regular chapter upload schedule for They Moved the Moon is on pause for a few weeks, I’m tiding everyone over with a playlist of all of the songs that have served as chapter titles/been mentioned as alternates and additional soundtracks in the end notes so far (including the ones not on Spotify!)

how do you choose who to donate to? it always feels like such an awful choice, everyone needs it so badly but i can only give to a few people at a time with what i have. how does anyone choose who to help, or how much to give each person?

Today was unlike any other.
We received a few donations and with them, we had our first real meal in over a month. For the first time in so long, we didn’t go to sleep hungry. We cried, not from pain this time, but from overwhelming joy and gratitude.
To everyone who donated, shared, or simply kept us in their thoughts thank you. You didn’t just feed us. You reminded us that we’re not alone. You gave us back a piece of our dignity and hope.
But the struggle isn’t over. We’re still in need of food, support, and a little more light in these hard times.

when i was little i thought martha’s vineyard was a literal vineyard owned by martha stewart
a former classmate of mine wrote one of those “what i did over the summer” essays in m*ddle sch**l about spending the summer in martha’s vineyard and the whole time she read her essay to the class i remember thinking “she…let you in? you stayed in her vineyard for the whole summer? with the grapes??”
Caroline swiveled her chair towards her boss. “This is one of the most complex endeavors we’ve ever undertaken,” she reminded him. “We’ve already made incredible progress with it. But getting it right takes time.”
“Time we don’t have,” Cave finished for her.
Caroline nodded, turning her worried gaze down toward the floor.
Cave leaned back in his chair. “Well, we’ll have to wait and see how the next tests go…”
Caroline raised her head again at his response. “What happened to getting mad?”
“I am mad, Caroline. Furious,” Cave clarified. “But I can’t even walk more than five feet anymore. If I’m gonna fight for someone, it would be stupid to pick myself. Cave Johnson’s a losing hand these days.”
“Sir…?” Caroline asked hesitantly.
“Caroline…” Cave began. He took as deep a breath as he could muster before continuing. “You would make the perfect CEO here.”
